Over the next few weeks I’ll provide periodic updates to the STEPUP publishing process. It has taken longer to do the first level edit than it took to generate the rough draft. My wife and I make a pretty good team, as I focus on concepts and rough wording, and she makes sure I’m grammatically correct. The only issue becomes one of timing. STEPUP is out for a content edit by three men that are very near and dear to my heart. They have all heard the various concepts, verbally, over the last few years. Now, they are checking out the written version to make sure it is intelligible.

I had to send it in two installments … the first went out two weeks ago. I sent the second installment out yesterday. I’m hoping that they will be able to get their inputs back to me over the next couple of weeks. After that, it will be off to a professional editor and finally to print. I don’t think STEPUP will make it to publishing in October, but hopefully it will get to the print house sometime in November.

And FYI, I started writing LISTEN UP a couple of months ago. I haven’t been working on it much as we have been editing STEPUP. But now that STEPUP is moving forward, LISTENUP is in the works. My plan is that sales of STEPUP will fund the printing of a second print run and the first run of LISTENUP. Check out the book pages on the website.
